Not only will you make new friends, you will also become part of the larger Parish Family of St. Rose of Lima!

Prayer Blanket Ministry

Youth Group

This is one of our newest ministries at St. Rose. Volunteers pray over the blankets they sew and the blankets are blessed at one of our Sunday masses. Then they are distributed to those who may be in need of them. There are openings for sewers as well as program coordinators to help with the assembly and paperwork involved with running the program. Contact Yolie Farris for information.

St. Rose of Lima is a Life Teen parish. Our Life Teen program targets High School students, but all are welcome! Our Youth Choir sings at the 6:00 pm Sunday Mass, and Life Nights are held on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in the Parish Hall. For more info, contact Youth Minister, Sarah Hegedusich.

Garden Angels

Catholic Youth Organization

The Meditation Garden is tended by a group of Garden Angels. Work calls are advertised in the bulletin, but if you have free time, you are always to come pull weeds as they seem to be quite fruitful in our garden!

Our parish hosts competitive teams in three sports, basketball in winter, baseball in spring, and soccer in fall. Teams are fielded for all age groups from 4 to 18 if enough children sign up to form a team in each age group. Children have to pay a fee and should be registered in (and attending) the Religious Education Program of the parish, or be attending Catholic school. For more information, please send an email to srlcyo@gmail.com
